ABOUT US

The Sunrise Gymnastics Boosters Club is a not-for-profit organization formed by the parents of the Sunrise Gymnastics Competitive Team members to assist and support all competitive teams at Sunrise Gymnastics. The corporation is operated exclusively for charitable purposes while encouraging and helping our team members mentally, physically, and emotionally and assisting financially in their gymnastic endeavors. Every team parent is automatically part of the booster club when their gymnast becomes a Sunrise Gymnastics team member.

The Sunrise Gymnastics Boosters Club’s primary goals are to support our gymnasts, parents, and gym through sponsorships and fundraising. Throughout the season, our volunteers assist in finding corporate and local sponsors and participating in fundraisers. In addition to helping generate funds for our gymnasts, participating in the boosters club is a great way to get to know other team parents while working together to make Sunrise Gymnastics one of the best clubs in Vermont. Our club welcomes parents from pre-team, optionals, Xcel, and boys’ teams to discover how to raise money for your gymnast’s team leotard/warmups, team gifts, coaches’ gifts, assessment fees, and home meets. Participating in finding sponsors supports the team, and your gymnast receives 50% of the sponsorship directly into their assessment/meet expenses for the season.

Tips from parents

Be patient; everything changes!
Enjoy the ride!
The meets are what make it all worth it!
Every meeting is different, and it's about many experiences.
Every gymnast will have a bad day; being on a team is about the commitment to yourself and the entire season.
Have fun!
It's OK to let your gymnasts cry; let them cry; don't let them quit on a bad day. Please encourage them to discuss their challenges and be supportive, not reactive.
